few & a few  sayılabilir  isimlerle
little  a little  sayılamayan   isimlerle kullanılır.

little  neredeyse yok  anlamında / negatif anlam verir

a little  ise  biraz ama çok değil /  az bir  miktar /  pozitif anlamdadır.

few   neredeyse hiç  / negatif   anlam verir

a few   az  bir  miktar çok değil  anlamında   pozitiftir.


Örnekler;

there are few  people in the cafe /   negative

there are  few boats on the sea / negative

there are a few people  in the  cafe / pozitif

there are a few  threes by the kanal   pozitif

 i can  speak a little spanish /

i have a  little water

there is a little  water / negative

i have  little cash in my pocket  / neredeyse hiç

there is  little sunshine

there are a few ladders on the  canal

there are  few people on the canal
